The state Cabinet meeting, scheduled for February 10, has been postponed to February 13. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had called the Cabinet meeting after a gap of over four months.
Sources said the CM had been in Delhi since Friday. He reached Chandigarh on Sunday evening, but some of the ministers were still in Delhi. Some pressing engagement of the CM had led to the postponement of the Cabinet meeting, they added.
PPCC chief Amrinder Singh Raja Warring said no Cabinet meeting had been held for the past several months. Many key decisions, including convening the Vidhan Sabha session, required the Cabinet approval, he added. He sought to know whether the postponement of the meeting was linked with the Delhi results.
