The Punjab DGP, Gaurav Yadav, paid a surprise visit to Ludhiana and Khanna late on Friday night. He went out for night domination operations and conducted surprise inspections at police stations and naka points. He also reviewed the working of special checkpoints and monitored on-ground police work.

The DGP also engaged with police officers at a cutting-edge level and interacted with residents at these stops to hear about their experiences and interactions with the police. "Glad to learn that the public feels safer with our increased presence," he said.

He also reviewed the effectiveness of crime combat apps like VAHAN and PAIS on the ground. Yadav said these special vehicle checks would continue to ensure enhanced security and effective law enforcement.
