Punjab govt to hold first cabinet meeting of 2025 on Feb 7
Punjab’s Aam Aadmi Party government will hold the first cabinet meeting of 2025 on February 7, after all ministers come back from Delhi, where they are campaigning for the Assembly polls scheduled for February 5.
Initially, a notice to hold the cabinet meeting was issued for February 6, which was lwithdrawn.
A number of key decisions are expected in the meeting. Several key issues related to improving the finances, early release of prisoners for good conduct, discussion on new mining policy and anti-drug policy can be taken up.
Last year, only five cabinet meetings were held, with the last one on October 5.
