Chandigarh, January 15

Love can make you do things one can’t even imagine.

In one such example, a young man tried to outsmart officials by impersonating his girlfriend while he ended up being the laughing stock of others at an examination centre.

Angrez Singh from Punjab’s Fazilka dressed up like his girlfriend Paramjit Kaur to write her paper. He, however, got caught as his fingerprint did not match her biometric record. He wore makeup, including red bangles, a bindi, lipstick and a ladies suit.

On January 7, a multi-purpose health workers exam was conducted by the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences at DAV Public School in Kotkapura.

However, the stage was set for Punjab's most unexpected comedy act as university officials quickly got wind of the charade and filed a complaint with the police.

According to the police, Angrez Singh used fake voter and Aadhaar cards to prove he was Paramjit Kaur.

He, however, was caught when his fingerprints failed to match those of his girlfriend on the biometric device.
