Dr Amarpal Singh, chairman of PSEB, said, “This action represents a crucial step toward integrating academic learning with skill-based education. The overall focus is to build a robust, skill-oriented ecosystem within Punjab’s schools, thereby equipping students with competencies essential for future employment. This will involve the recognition of academic achievements and certified vocational skills.”

To further this mission, PSEB signed an MoU with ‘Lend A Hand India’ (LAHI) to strengthen vocational education and NSQF integration. By aligning quality vocational training with industry-certified credentials, Punjab is taking a proactive step to promote high-level skill development at the secondary level, preparing a generation ready to contribute meaningfully to the state’s economy.
