Amritsar, June 26
Punjabi singer Preet Harpal approached the Akal Takht to tender an apology over the use of some “obnoxious” words in one of his songs related to Covid.
After submitting a letter to the office of the Akal Takht Secretariat, he said he inadvertently included some objectionable words about a Guru in his song for which he was repentant and volunteered to accept the mistake. “The moment I realised it after seeing comments by some viewers, I deleted the song from the social media,” he said. — TNS
