The Sangam Indian Folk Dance and Music Festival took centre stage at Rayat Bahra Education City, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of India through vibrant performances and competitions. Organised in collaboration with the B Ed College and the National Youth Development Center Talwara, the event highlighted the talents of students from various campus colleges.

The festival featured traditional performances such as Giddha, Bhangra, and folk songs, along with engaging competitions like debates, group discussions, and community work. Students also participated in an awareness rally against drug abuse, delivering a strong social message to the community.

The event was inaugurated with a welcome address by Principal Dr. Pallavi Pandit. Former Union Minister Vijay Sampla, the Chief Guest, encouraged the youth to actively participate in cultural activities alongside academics, emphasizing the importance of nurturing personal relationships. Campus Director Dr Chander Mohan highlighted how the festival fostered teamwork, leadership, and social responsibility among students.

National Youth Development Center Director Sanjeev Zakmi also spoke, stressing the importance of connecting young people with their cultural roots.

The event concluded with the distribution of awards to standout performers: Chetna Chaudhary (Debate), Amanpreet (Solo Song), Kanan (Solo Dance), and Law College (Group Dance).
