Members of the Health Workers’ Sangharsh Committee staged a protest at the Civil Hospital, Bathinda, and burnt an effigy of the Health Minister, alleging that the department had failed to honour its promises made regarding regularisation of female health workers and reducing the probation period of newly-appointed male health workers.
