Chandigarh, February 9

Hours after actor-turned-activist Deep Sidhu’s arrest in connection with the Republic Day violence, another most-wanted accused, Lakha Sidhana, in a video message today asked Punjab farm union leaders to regain the leadership of the agitation.

Appreciating the unions from Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and other parts for adding impetus to the agitation, Sidhana asked state farm leaders not to play second fiddle to those currently leading the movement seeking repeal of the farm laws. He was referring to the emergence of Jat leader Rakesh Tikait as the main face of the agitation. — TNS
