The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today questioned the BJP-led Central government “for deviating from India’s policy thus far on third party intervention on Indo-Pak issues, including Kashmir, and bowing to the pressure of the US President Donald Trump”.

The party’s senior leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia, has also asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to reveal the terms on which the ceasefire with Pakistan was announced when Pakistan continues to send drones in both Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab.

“How could the President of the USA first announce that he had initiated a dialogue between the two countries and India and Pakistan had agreed to a ceasefire after his intervention? It was after his tweet that India announced a pause to the conflict. How did India agree to a third party intervention and why is the PM quiet on this issue?” he asked. Using trade as a carrot, they have forced India to back out of pounding Pakistan and punishing it for spreading terror in India, he alleged.

Sisodia, who is also the AAP in charge for Punjab, was addressing a press conference here today when he said that many questions on the current situation remained unanswered.

“The country wants to know that if Pakistan is a rogue state, why did we declare a ceasefire? If Pakistan bent before India, as the PM has claimed, why has there been no written agreement with Indian government on ceasefire? Pakistan seeks forgiveness, bends and our Central government is OK with it? Did the Pak-sponsored terrorists, who killed innocent tourists in Baisaran valley, show any mercy towards women present there?” he questioned.
