Road blocked over 43-yr-old man’s death

Muktsar, July 9

The kin of 43-year-old Dhira Singh of Bhallaiana village here, who was allegedly crushed to death by a tractor last evening, lodged a protest by blocking the Muktsar-Bathinda Road. The protesters kept the body on the road and started the protest last night, which was underway today as well. Demanding arrest of the unidentified tractor driver, the protesters said that after the accident, the accused put the body under a parked truck and managed to run away.
