In a robbery that follows a similar pattern seen in other areas, four masked miscreants targeted a petrol pump near Burjmuhar village and made off with Rs 68,000. The incident occurred at 2:30 am when two of the suspects knocked on the cabin door where the staff was sleeping.
When there was no response, they forcefully broke open the door and entered with sharp weapons. The robbers took the cash from the counter and also snatched mobile phones from two employees under threat before fleeing the scene.
A case has been filed at the Khuian Sarwar police station under Sections 309(4), 324(4), and 331(6) of the BNS Act.
