SAD (A) president Simranjit Singh Mann detained at Bargari

Faridkot: The police rounded up some persons, including SAD (Amritsar) president Simranjit Singh Mann, on Thursday after they reached Bargari, the epicentre of sacrilege incidents of 2015. Heavy police force was already deployed at Bargari. On June 1, at the assembly of many religious and political leaders at Bargari resumption of the morcha from July 1 was announced. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
