Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Mohinder Singh Kaypee’s wife Suman passed away on Sunday after battling cancer for a long time.

She was undergoing treatment at PGIMER in Chandigarh. Her health was one of the reasons behind Mohinder Singh’s long hiatus from politics.

Kaypee was Jalandhar candidate for SAD in the recently concluded Lok Sabha polls.
