The Shiromani Akali Dal has called a meeting of its Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee members in Chandigarh on January 21 to discuss the alleged discrepancies in the electoral rolls for the polls to the Sikh body.

In a statement, the party alleged that Punjab's Aam Aadmi Party government has facilitated the inclusion of ineligible people in voter lists for the SGPC elections.

The party said the meeting will be presided over by SAD's acting president Balwinder Singh Bhunder. Former party president Sukhbir Singh Badal will also attend the meeting.

The party alleged that a large number of non-Sikhs have been registered at the behest of the AAP government.
