Sangrur school honours students on academic day

Sangrur, August 9
General Gurnam Singh (GGS) Public School, Sangrur, today celebrated its 56th annual academic day in the multi-purpose hall of the school here. The principal of Delhi Public School, Bathinda, JK Saini, presided over the function.
Various prizes were given to the students for excellence in academics as well as co-curricular activities. An exhibition of different projects and models, prepared by the school students, was also organised. The event featured a cultural show in which students participated in orchestra, mime and bhangra, among other events.
The principal of the school, Prabhjot Kaur Grewal, read the annual report of the school. The director, SV Kumar, appreciated the efforts of the students for their achievements in different fields.
