Scores of Muktsar doctors infected post Maghi fair

Post Maghi, a huge spike in Covid cases has been witnessed among doctors and other medical staff. Due to this, the government healthcare services are likely to be affected for the next few days.

Those who have tested positive for Covid today include the district immunisation officer, deputy medical commissioner, a district epidemiologist, Muktsar vaccine incharge, three other doctors and a health inspector.

The district has also seen a significant rise in the number of daily cases being reported. Notably, in the past three days, 280 persons have tested positive for Covid in the district.
