Gurdwara Sri Ramsar Sahib is the place where fifth Sikh Guru Arjan Dev compiled the Adi Granth, which was later called the Guru Granth Sahib in its expanded form.

The Hall No. 4 at Sri Guru Granth Sahib Bhawan was renovated using modern techniques and the project was undertaken by Baba Kashmir Singh Bhuriwale.

Likewise, the publication department's office and Literature House were also rebuilt. This task was assigned to Baba Sucha Singh and Baba Satnam Singh of Qila Anandgarh.
