SGPC has sought time for another meeting with death row prisoner Balwant Singh Rajoana lodged in Patiala jail and also sent a reminder to the Union Ministry of Home Affairs to spare time for the SGPC panel to discuss over Rajoana’s pending mercy petition and release of Bandi Singhs.

“We have written a letter to the Director General of Police, Punjab, and Superintendent of Jail seeking a meeting with Rajoana,” Dhami said.
