SHO suspended over corruption allegations
Muktsar Senior Superintendent of Police Tushar Gupta has suspended Malout City police station SHO Harpreet Kaur over corruption accusations.
“Sub-Inspector Harpreet Kaur has been suspended over corruption allegations and Inspector Varun Kumar has now been posted as the SHO of the Malout City police station. Now, we will verify allegations against Harpreet Kaur,” Gupta said.
According to sources, the action was taken over a vehicle theft case. Meanwhile, Inspector Harpreet Singh was posted as the SHO of Malout Sadar police station. Further, Sub-Inspector Karamjit Kaur has been posted as the SHO of the Lambi police station.
