Sidhu Moosewala murder: Shooter Ankit Sirsa, Sachin Bhiwani sent to judicial remand

Ankit Sirsa and Sachin Bhiwani, two main accused in Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala murder case, were on Thursday have been sent to the district jail on judicial remand in Mansa on Thursday.
While Sirsa is one of the six shooters in the high-profile murder case, Bhiwani was accused of harbouring shooters. The duo was brought to the local court amid tight security before being medically examined at Civil Hospital here.
The local court had extended the police remand of both accused for five days on July 23. Prior to that also the duo remained in police custody for eight days after they were brought from Delhi on July 15 on transit remand. Both were kept at CIA staff police station in Mansa where they were being interrogated by the police.
Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead by at six shooters at Jawahar Ke village in Mansa district on May 29.
The special cell of Delhi Police had arrested Ankit and Sachin from the Kashmere Gate area in Delhi on July 4. Out of total six shooters involved in the murder of Sidhu Moosewala, two have been killed in an encounter with the Punjab police while three are in custody of police who are being interrogated. Sixth accused Deepak Mundi is still at large.
Mansa SSP Guarav Toora has claimed that the police have got vital leads with regard to the sixth shooter.
