The kingpin in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case Goldy Brar has reportedly posted from a Facebook account operational in his name in which he has stated that on the day of encounter when police surrounded Jagroop Roopa and Manpreet Manna, Roopa had called him and he told them to do surrender and will make a plan to take them out of jail.

But they both refused to do so, stating that "they will not surrender and will show him their last performance".

Further, Goldy Brar has stated that they fought bravely as they kept police engaged in firing for six hours. “Those who say eight people killed Sidhu Moosewala, I want to tell them that they were eight, whereas here they were 1000+ cops, but both gave them a brave fight,” the Facebook post reads.

The shooters in Sidhu Moosewala murder case, Jagroop Roopa and Manpreet Manna who were killed in a police encounter few days back, were ready to surrender and had told a police team that they would surrender in front of the media, but they changed their mind in 5 to 10 minutes.

Mansa CIA incharge Prithpal Singh said, “We got an information that both wanted shooters are hiding in an abandoned house on the outskirts of the village. Police surrounded the house, seeing which they started firing on us and we returned fire. This continued for around more than one hour.”

Prithpal Singh added, “Later, we asked them to come down and surrender. They replied that they will surrender, but put a condition to call the press. We agreed to this and told them to stop firing and that it would take 15-20 minutes to call the media here. They stopped firing for 5 minutes, but resumed it again and were eventually killed in exchange of fire with police.”

The CIA incharge also claimed that CCTV footage of June 21 in which both were seen on motorcycle at Samalsar in Moga district was the main clue and after the video surfaced police started following the two and reached the house where they were hiding.

Prithipal Singh is also the member of the SIT probing Sidhu Moosewala’s murder and was present at the spot during the encounter of two gangsters at Amritsar district.
