The SIT in the 2016 Kotkapura firing case has summoned ex-DGP Sumedh Saini for questioning tomorrow at Punjab Police Officers Institute, Sector 32, here.
The SIT had summoned Saini in June also but he could not appear due to some unavoidable circumstances. The SIT is probing who had ordered the police to open fire at a crowd that was protesting against sacrilege incidents.
