Krishnav Mahajan (10), a Class V student of Doon International School, Gurdaspur, took part in the ‘Painting and Drawing Veer Gatha Award Project’ held in New Delhi recently and was felicitated by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh after being declared as one of the ‘Super 100 Children’.

The competition was organised by the Department of Defence and the Ministry of Education. He was presented with a cheque for Rs 10,000 for his achievement.

He was also felicitated by staff of the school on his return to Gurdaspur. His victory has buoyed his fellow students to do well in the state and national-level competitions.

Principal Usha Sharma and school directors Amandeep Singh and Gagandeep Singh encouraged him to continue to strive for a bright future.
