Chandigarh: A senior Hindu leader, Anish Sidana, who had recently been appointed political adviser to SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal has resigned from the Akali Dal. He had recently left the Congress to join the SAD. Sidana alleged the SAD leaders were positioning themselves to appease the hardliners. TNS

Rs 1.34-cr embezzled, truckers seek probe

Three killed in road mishap on NH-62 in Sriganganagar
