Takht : Investigate, expose forces
Fatehgarh Sahib, December 19
Akal Takht Jathedar Harpreet Singh has condemned the “sacrilege” attempt at the Golden Temple and sought a thorough investigation to expose the forces responsible for these acts.
After paying obeisance at the Fatehgarh Sahib Gurdwara, he said such incidents were being perpetrated during the election period to tarnish the image of Punjab.
The jathedar said if the government failed to investigate, expose and punish the culprits, it could lead to a law and order problem. Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) general secretary Karnail Singh Panjoli also condemned the incidents. — OC
