Chandigarh: In order to avoid rush at hospitals in the wake of Covid-19, telemedicine is proving to be a boon for patients across the state as many people need day-to-day medical advice and consultation for prevalent chronic diseases. For general medicine too, the Health department is going to commence e-Sanjeevani OPD for gynaecology services from June 1 to ensure mother and child healthcare, said Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu. Free guidance for competitive exams

Chandigarh: The Punjab Employment Generation and Training Department has taken various online initiatives to provide career guidance, counselling and coaching for competitive exams during the lockdown. Assn hails nod to pharma industrial park

Chandigarh: The Punjab Drugs Manufacturers Association expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh for accepting their demand for setting up of a dedicated pharma industrial park crucial for overall development and promotion of bulk drug manufacturing industry mainly in post-Covid scenario with foreign entrepreneurs preferring India instead of China. PCS officers donate Rs11 lakh to cm fund
