Case after 7 years, not enthused: ED ex-official Niranjan Singh
Jalandhar, December 21
Retired Deputy Director of Enforcement Directorate (ED) Niranjan Singh, who had summoned former SAD minister Bikram Singh Majithia in the alleged money laundering case against drug lord Jagdish Bhola seven years ago, is not enthused over registration of an FIR in the drugs case.
Niranjan Singh, who was an inquiry officer in the case, said, “There is no reason for me to feel vindicated today. A case has been lodged after seven years.” The officer had to face a lot of trouble owing to his tough stand. — TNS
