Several farm leaders, including Rakesh Tikait and Harinder Singh Lakhowal, met SKM (Non-Political) convener Jagjit Singh Dallewal to enquire about his well-being at the Khanauri border on Friday.
Tikait said he had already asked all farm unions of the country to unite in the fight. He said the government had no mercy for anyone so it would not succumb until farmer unions united and chalked out a solid agitation plan. He said the SKM had already formed a five-member panel that would also talk to the SKM (Non-Political) and the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha.
A doctor who examined Dallewal on Friday said his health condition was very critical and he might suffer a cardiac arrest, besides facing failure of kidneys. He must be admitted to an intensive care unit (ICU), he added.
