To woo investors, Mann starts 10-day Japan tour from today

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will proceed on a 10-day tour of Japan from Monday. Accompanied by state Industry Minister Sanjeev Arora, the Chief Minister will meet industrialists and urge them to invest in the state.

The industrialists will be told about the recent initiatives taken by the government to promote industry and efforts in providing ease of doing business.

They will also be invited to participate in an industrial summit, expected to be held in March next year. For the past a few weeks, state government officials and ministers have been going and meeting industrialists in different parts of the country, organising roadshows to get private industrial investment.
