In order to enhance the efficacy of the Revenue Department, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today announced to reduce the training period of newly recruited patwaris.

Addressing a gathering during a function to distribute allotment letters among 855 patwaris at Municipal Bhawan, the Chief Minister said the reduction in training period would enhance the efficiency of the patwaris working in the field, thereby facilitating the common man.

He said the state government was committed to streamline each and every department. Revenue Minister Brahm Shankar Jimpa congratulated the newly-recruited patwaris and informed about revolutionary initiatives been taken by the department. Financial Commissioner Revenue Anurag Aggarwal, Special Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Ravi Bhagat, Special Secretary Capt Karnail Singh and others were also present.
