Two arrested with 3 pistols, 8 cartridges

The Muktsar police and the Counter Intelligence, Bathinda, have arrested two persons and seized three pistols and eight live cartridges from them.

Those arrested are: Lovejeet Singh, alias Labha, of the Malout road area here and Satinder Singh, alias Happy, of the Goneana road area.

“Initially, Lovejeet Singh was arrested with two pistols and four live cartridges. During the investigation, he informed the police that he brought the weapons from Satinder Singh. Thereafter, Satinder was also arrested and a pistol, four live cartridges were seized from him. The duo belonged to the gang of Sunil Bhandari, alias Nata,” said Tushar Gupta, SSP, Muktsar. Two separate cases have been registered.
