Ugrahan flays gherao of farmer leaders
Chandigarh, April 24
The BKU (Ugrahan) today flayed the gherao of the leaders of the Samyukt Kisan Morcha and “pressuring” them to declare the date of Parliament march.
President of the union Joginder Singh Ugrahan alleged that the Samyukt Kisan Morcha postponed the decision of Parliament march because the government was trying to find some excuse to launch repression on farmers’ protests at the Delhi borders.
He said the gherao of leaders showed the “nefarious designs of some elements who were playing into the hands of the anti-farmer forces”, which were trying to create the situation like January 26. — TNS
