Unruly scenes witnessed at BDPO office in Khera

Unruly scenes were witnessed at the office of the BDPO, Khera block, in the district as the people on coming to know that the PA of Fatehgarh Sahib MLA Lakhbir Singh Rai along with a few workers of AAP was sitting inside the BDPO office, which was locked from outside and were allegedly tampering with the file of nominations of those opposing the ruling party.

The people started gathering in large numbers and they called former MLA Kuljit Singh Nagra, who reached the spot in no time. The people started raising slogans against the state government and the MLA and gheraoed the BDPO office. The police reached the place and Nagra pacified the protesters. The door was opened and as soon as the PA of the MLA came out, the people manhandled him and the police had a tough time to whisk him away from the backside gate.

The video of the whole incident has gone viral. Nagra alleged that the nomination papers of Congress candidates were being tampered with.
