Victory flame reaches Fazilka

Fazilka, February 24

To commemorate the 50th anniversary celebrations of India’s victory over Pakistan in 1971 war, the Swarnim Vijay Mashaal (victory flame) reached Asafwala War Memorial today. Rich tributes were paid to martyrs on the arrival of the victory flame.

Brigadier Hardeep Singh Burn, Deputy Commissioner Arvind Pal Singh Sandhu and Fazilka MLA Davinder Singh Ghubaya laid wreaths and pay homage to 218 fallen soldiers of the Indian Army. — OC
