In view of the increasing Covid cases, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has asked all medical colleges to ensure strengthening of skill-building facilities for timely training of healthcare workers. As advised by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, the NMC has asked medical colleges and the state government to ensure that every healthcare worker deployed for Covid care takes online lessons via the iGOT Diksha platform. A total of 115 courses on iGOT are for doctors, nurses, paramedics, hygiene workers, technicians, auxiliary nursing midwives (ANMs), state government officers, civil defence officers and NCC. —
