The newly appointed president along with working president Bharat Bhushan Ashu has already covered around 30 Assembly segments over the past one week and met workers there.

A PCC spokesperson said in a departure from convention, Warring along with Ashu would take charge at a simple ceremony as the wheat harvest was at its peak. “After taking over the responsibility given to us

by the party high command, we will reach out to you on your doorstep,” said the spokesperson. —
