Well-stocked library to open in Abohar

A state-of-the-art library developed here at a cost of Rs 3.42 crore is complete and ready to be dedicated to people soon. Students will be able to make use of the upcoming facility soon.
Deputy Commissioner Senu Duggal, who also holds additional charge of the Municipal Corporation here, said that the 120-seat library at the Abha Square included all facilities required to attract youngsters towards reading and studying. She underlined her intent to come up with more such facilities for the city students in the near future.
She said that the district had great potential to tap youth talent in studies and with hard work and sincere efforts, the district administration would provide constructive platforms for them to excel at school and college level.
“The library is equipped with all necessary amenities, including Wi-Fi, CCTVs and ACs. Provision of a librarian and a caretaker has been made to ensure proper working of the library,” the DC added.
