Chandigarh, January 29
A day after “threatening” farm leaders, actor-turned-activist Deep Sidhu said whatever happened on January 26 at the Red Fort was a police trap, adding that he would join the investigation soon.
In a late-night Facebook ‘live’, which came as farmers started returning to protest sites in large numbers, he said the way people had reached the Red Fort without much effort, it seemed there was “some trap also”.
Regarding the arrest warrants issued against him, he said he needed some time to bring out the truth. “Why should I be afraid? I have done nothing wrong,” he claimed. — TNS
