A woman was injured in Anand Nagari today when a pressure cooker exploded in her kitchen. Sudesh Rani Sidana was cooking vegetables when she got distracted, leading to excessive steam buildup in the cooker, which ultimately burst. The explosion caused significant damage to the cooker and gas stove, but fortunately, it did not

ignite a fire.

Santosh, who heard the loud noise, rushed to the kitchen and was hit by flying vegetable pieces, causing him to fall. Family members quickly took Sudesh to a private hospital, where her condition is reported as stable. While the explosion was severe, a major accident was narrowly avoided.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
