The duo was ordered to undergo rigorous life imprisonment. A fine of Rs 10,000 each was also imposed. The court held that the prosecution had successfully proved the charges. The court also declined the plea of leniency raised by the convicts. A case against them was registered at Shimlapuri police station on December 1, 2015, following the statement of Rishab Arora, grandson of the deceased. —OC
