To enhance the livelihoods of Scheduled Caste farmers, a training programme was conducted at Kokri Kalan village of Moga today.

Ninety-five progressive SC women farmers from three farmer producer companies (FPCs) in Moga 1, Moga 2 and Bhagapurana clusters of the district participated in the programme.

Each beneficiary received spray pumps as part of the event. The training programme was designed to empower these women farmers with knowledge on advanced maize cultivation techniques, with a focus on promoting value addition in maize crops.
