An oath in this regard was taken in response to calls made by organizsrs led by Malerkotla SSP Gagan Ajit Singh during the concluding session of the event.

“Feeling indebted to the gesture shown by the Malerkotla police to recognise our female students and teachers. We vow to support any campaign or project launched by them against social evils, including drug abuse,” said Prem Singh, district coordinator of Student-Police Cadet scheme, adding that girls cadets from 10 schools would act as ambassadors of the police in fight against drug peddlers.
