Chandigarh, August 8

Minister for Social Security, Women and Child Development Dr Baljit Kaur discussed the participation of women in politics in the context of the Women’s Reservation Act 2023.

She said the government had implemented a Budget to eliminate gender-based inequality and ensure the equal distribution of resources. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
