PUDA XEN promoted on panel intervention

An Executive Engineer (XEN) of the Punjab Urban Development Authority (PUDA) has got a promotion with retrospective effect i.e. from May 4, 2019, as the Chief Engineer on the intervention of the Punjab State Schedule Castes Commission.
Commission member Gian Chand said complainant Balwinder Singh had been occupying the post of Executive Engineer since July 3, 2015, but had not been considered for promotion. It was claimed he didn’t fulfil the eligibility criteria on the grounds that the annual confidential reports of 2018-19 had not been received. — TNS
