Youth dies of drug overdose, three arrested
The Gidderbaha police have arrested three persons, including a father-son duo, after a youngster allegedly died of drug overdose on Friday.
The deceased Parveen Kumar’s uncle Ved Parkash from Chughe Kala village in Bathinda lodged a complaint, alleging that his nephew was found sitting on the stairs of his shop near the bus stand in Gidderbaha and was having difficulty in breathing.
“Parveen told me that Jasvir Singh and his father, Jagjit Singh, from Ward 5 in Gidderbaha, had administered some drug to him. He informed me that earlier too the duo, along with Gurpreet Singh, from Lulbai Road in Gidderbaha had administered drugs to him,” alleged Ved.
