Youth kills grandfather, uncle
Muktsar: A youngster allegedly killed his grandfather’s brother and an uncle over a property dispute at Baam village. The deceased have been identified as 80-year-old Jarnail Singh and 65-year-old Mithu Singh.
Hardeep Singh allegedly shot dead the duo after entering Jarnail’s house. He also opened fire on Jarnail Singh’s wife Naseeb Kaur who was hurt. TNS
Chopping of ‘kes’ condemned
Amritsar: The SGPC has demanded strict action against those who forcibly chopped off “kes” (hair) of an inmate of the Bathinda Central Jail. SGPC chief Harjinder Singh Dhami strongly condemned the chopping of “kes” of Rajdeep Singh, a youth lodged in the Bathinda Central Jail.
