Palika Vihar Park transformed into a sacred centre of spiritual energy, social awakening, and human sensitivity as DAV Senior Secondary Public School, Ambala City, organised a historic 100-Kund Vedic Mahayajna under the mission “No Nasha Nation”. The programme began with an inspiring address by the school’s Principal Dr Radha Raman Suri. He warmly welcomed all distinguished guests and social workers by adorning them with the traditional Om-patt, creating an ambience of dignity and spiritual grace. Soon after, Acharya Naveen Arya, serving as Yajna-Brahma, formally commenced the Vedic Mahayajna. Following the yajna, a solemn oath for a ‘Drug-Free India’ was administered. A powerful presentation by Dr Rajendra Rai, Nodal Officer, Civil Hospital, on the harmful effects of addiction left a deep impact on students and the entire audience. A stirring street play by the school’s talented students portrayed the economic, emotional, and social devastation caused by addiction.
