DAV Centenary Public School, Jind, organised a 100-kund yagna at Rani Talab in Jind. As many as 100 DAV students, dressed in white pajamas and yellow kurtas, performed the yagna in unison. The yagna was performed in Sanskrit as well as Hindi. The hymns were sung by Harendra Bhardwaj’s Bhajan Mandali. The yagnas were attended by Rudraksh Midha, son of Krishna Lal Midha, Deputy Speaker of the Haryana Legislative Assembly. A large crowd of parents gathered at the event, and everyone participated in the yagna with devotion. This yagna was organised to help young people avoid drug addiction. For this, the school’s Principal Rashmi Vidyarthi administered a pledge to all present to remain away from drugs.
