NEAT aims to bring the best technological Products in education pedagogy on a single platform for the convenience of learners. Technology Products using Artificial Intelligence for customised learning or e-content in niche areas having highly employable skills would be identified for showcasing on the portal. As many as 25 per cent of the courses sold through the NEAT portal are included in the Edu-Tech companies being provided free of cost to students from the economically weaker sections. In this connection, AICTE has around 12 lakh free coupons available now, which AICTE wants to distribute to the students whose annual family income is less than 8 lakh per annum. These free coupons will be distributed through NEAT portal.

The various Edu-Tech companies that were working in making education more socially and economically viable, all of them were selected by the AICTE on the basis of quality parameters. These companies make the students proficient in current knowledge of latest technologies, proficiency in the field of computer, managerial skills etc. Subjects are selected by artificial intelligence according to the ability of every student and the student is taught in different ways on the basis of individual ability.

These coupons are going to be distributed and launch of NEAT 3.0 by the Minister of Education, Dharmendra Pradhan January 3, 2022. NEAT 3.0 will also contain the schools and other non-technical higher education courses based on AI.
